This is where we'll kick off your Bright Green Future experience and when you can meet everyone else taking part.
We'll be doing different interactive workshops and activities for you to get to know everyone and the BGF staff members. This includes:
Strength Finder and Pathways workshop to reflect on where you're at and where you might be heading
Taking a 'deep time' walk around the surrounding countryside
Learning about intersectionality from speakers, such as Olivia Sweeney, Black and Green Ambassador for Bristol
Starting your campaign group project
Time around the fire for toasting marshmallows and having chats, exploring our emotions around climate change and social justice issues
Location and dates:
Our next residential will be in April 2023. We will confirm dates when applications open in September 2022.
The residential will take place at Mill on the Brue. It is a compulsory part of the programme so you must be able to join us on those dates. It's this way because we want to you have the best experience, and the residential is where you get to meet everyone and start projects.
All the travel, accommodation and food costs for this are free for you, find out more about how we make this happen here.
